I read the reviews for this book before I bought it, so I was somewhat prepared for what I received. This book goes over and above the prelicensing course that I took online for the state of Georgia. The material is great but I feel like some of the sections could be a little more clear and they weren’t quite as detailed as the course I took. (But this book included a few concepts and things that were not covered in my state course.) The questions however in the final exam in the chapter reviews are terrible. Several of them make no sense whatsoever and question number 31 in the final exam is written with all four of the answer choices exactly the same. The book was definitely worth the $19 that I paid for it but I’m glad I didn’t spend 50 or 60. Overall it’s worth the money but it’s probably not the best one out there, Especially if you’re looking for good practice questions.
The Guide gets a 5 star rating from me for several reasons.1) The use of contrasting colors/boxes in the book to highlight definitions and concepts that are important in each chapter.2) The Concept Review Chapter Summaries---and Chapter Test Sections to review and test per chapter---rather than one big test at the end of the book---as done by other publishers.3) The Guide uses spacing and fonts that are easy to read and highlight important terms for memory and later review---making the book easier to read while doing the study process.Overall and excellent priced Exam Guide as entry into the insurance industry.
Returned due to very poor editing. Content was decent but I found many errors throughout the entire book. Even 2 test questions were unanswerable. One had the same answer for all 4 choices.
I’m preparing for this exam it was very helpful. I liked the questions and answers page and the pages on abbreviations helps a lot to understand. I will be prepared for my exam when I’m ready to take it.
so far the book is very helpful I love the small quiz at the end of each chapter, very informative I have no complaints so far will see after i take the exam
I’ve used it some but will have to update mr review after exam.
This book provides great information. Now that I am going back and looking at the answers that i missed, i find the book is very poorly edited- some of the answers for the final exam in the book are not correct. Some of the questions don't make sense at all.
Way to many errors ! Waste or money ! Don’t buy
